Road tripping! I love it! That is if I don’t have to drive… Chris and I drove to Germany this past week to visit his friend and his little family. Except for the driving part we had an amazing time. Visiting castles, taking pictures in medieval towns and just chilling around at the American army base in Ansbach. And did you guys know? Chris became a private!
Before going to Germany I really wanted to see The Bling Ring. Chris and I have an unlimited movie pass so every time we went to see a movie, the Bling Ring trailer was played. I loved how the story line of the movie stayed real close to the actual case.
Loving the Despicable me Chara
Zuzu loves playing with a little rope.
On our way to Ansbach Germany.
On our way we stopped to get some dinner and accidentally ended up at a michelin star restaurant! Their prices were very descent and the food was, as expected, excellent.
Finally arrived in the beautiful Germany. The Bavaria area of Germany is so nice, lovely Austrian-style houses, farm fields and little village’s everywhere.
Let me introduce to you all: private Chris Reichard, ready to start his service. Just joking, we went to the USA Army bas in Ansbach to visit Chris’ friend and his family.
Our lovely hosts. They showed us around a castle, which was closed unfortunately, but the area around it was beautiful too.
On our way back to the Netherlands we stopped by Rothenburg wich is the loveliest medieval German town I’ve EVER seen, and believe me I’ve seen quite a few of them.
Whenever I see a house like this I just have to take a picture of it, it’s looks like it came straight out of a fairytale.
We found this cat sunbathing on a convertible. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could be a cat for a day (or more) and just lazy around as you please? I sure know I would love to be one.
I just can’t stop saying how much I love streets like this. It feels like you’re walking in an old movie.
Cat wall painting! As you can see I’m currently living in my F21 maxi dress, best purchase ever.
The view of Rothenburg over the valley. We only had a few hours in Rothenburg, so we definitely want to go back here and spend a bit more time.
And this is our view when waking up in the USA, where we currently are! We just arrived so I didn’t take many pictures, but next weeks #personal diary post will be filled with pictures from the USA :D.
